Responsibilities
The Specialist, Global Gaming Group Experiences plays a pivotal role in supporting the development, execution, and optimization of curated onboard experiences for group guests across Carnival Corporation brands. This role also supports the pre-cruise communication journey, ensuring guests are informed and engaged from booking to boarding. The Specialist will document and refine onboard procedures, support shipboard teams with training and tools, and manage reporting and financial tracking to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
Experience Development & Execution -Support the design and implemention of curated onboard experiences tailored to group demographics and brand identities.
Coordinate logistics and support for onboard activations, including merchandise, staffing, and event flow.
Pre-Cruise Communication Journey - Support the creation of pre-cruise communications for group experiences. Ensure messaging aligns with brand tone and experience expectations. Track engagement metrics and recommend improvements.
Reporting & Data Capture - Collect and analyze data related to group experience performance, guest feedback, and operational metrics. Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools in Wrike or other platforms. Assist in preparing post-event summaries and insights for leadership.
Digital Infrastructure & Knowledge Management - Maintain central repository for Group Experiences inclusive SOP manuals for onboard activations and the digital asset repository for marketing and operational use for groups. Maintain live FAQ and training resources for shipboard and shoreside teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
2+ years of experience in hospitality, cruise, or event marketing industries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience supporting guest-facing programs or onboard activations is highly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with project management tools such as Wrike or similar platforms.
Experience developing and managing project timelines, milestones, and status updates across teams.
Basic knowledge of financial tracking, procurement processes, and reporting tools.
Experience collaborating with marketing, merchandising, and event teams to deliver cohesive communications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Financial Planning - Ability to monitor costs, budgets, and procurement inventory.
Project Management - Strong organizational and project management skills.
Collaboration & Communication -Ability to work cross-functionally with shipboard and shoreside teams.
Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving - Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
Knowledge: Understanding of workplace policies and procedures / Familiarity with team collaboration tools and techniques.
Skills: Skilled in digital illustration, layout design, photo editing, and animation.
Abilities: Ability to streamline ideas into compelling visuals that communicate key messages.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel: Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely
Work Conditions: Work beyond normal business hours or on weekends may be required occasionally to support business needs, projects, or operations.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

- Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
