Responsibilities
The Specialist, Global Ethics & Compliance Engagement supports the execution of key components of the global ethics and compliance program, with a focus on communications, engagement activities, and content development. This role assists in promoting a strong compliance culture by supporting awareness initiatives, developing high-quality communications, and coordinating program activities across the organization.
The Specialist works closely with the Senior Manager, Global Ethics & Compliance Strategy & Engagement and cross-functional stakeholders to help deliver consistent, effective messaging and engagement initiatives across teams.
Essential Functions:
Communications & Content Development - Support the development and delivery of internal communications, including intranet content, campaigns, newsletters, and announcements, while ensuring alignment with Global Ethics & Compliance priorities; assist in developing presentations, visual assets, and communication materials; and support video content development and production efforts through scripting, coordination, and editing activities to enable awareness campaigns, training materials, and leadership messaging.
Engagement & Awareness Support - Support the execution of engagement initiatives designed to promote awareness and adoption of compliance programs; coordinate logistics and materials for meetings, training sessions, and engagement activities; and track and report on participation and engagement metrics.
Intranet & Digital Platform Support - Maintain and update Global Ethics & Compliance SharePoint and digital platforms to ensure content is accurate, current, and user-friendly; and monitor platform performance metrics while supporting reporting activities.
Program Coordination & Administration - Support the coordination of compliance initiatives, including timelines and deliverables; track action items and follow-ups across projects; and assist with scheduling and cross-functional coordination to ensure effective execution.
Compliance Monitoring & Data Support - Assist in gathering and organizing data related to compliance monitoring activities and support tracking and reporting against key program metrics to enable effective program oversight.

Essential/Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Preferred certifications:
AWS or Azure Certification
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
Project Management Professional (PMP - PMI
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Preferred Experience:
1+ year in the cruise and/or travel industry
Essential experience required
3–6 years of relevant experience in communications, compliance, project coordination, or related field
Experience using Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Teams
Ability to manage multiple deliverables and priorities with a moderate degree of independence
Strong written and visual communication skills
Travel: Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Physical Demands.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
