JOB SUMMARY:

Oversee, manage, and develop a team of approximately 20 Personal Vacation Planners (PVPs) for outbound Consumer Sales. The Sales Coach will lead a team to achieve monthly sales targets, net bookings, Carnival Vacation Protection (CVP) sales, and upselling (B+). The Sales Coach is also responsible for daily communication with PVPs regarding product developments, policy updates, and relevant business situations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sales techniques, a passion for helping others achieve their goals, and the ability to foster a collaborative and motivating environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee and manage a team of Personal Vacation Planners, ensuring attainment of sales goals and the delivery of excellent customer service. Sales areas of focus are: Net bookings, CVP take rate, upselling, level of referrals, and overall conversion rate for PVPs and average bookings per PVP.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions: Provide personalized feedback and guidance to PVPs to improve their skillsperformance, and professional development.  
  • Monitor and evaluate performance: Track the progress of PVPs and assess the effectiveness of coaching and training initiatives.  
  • Facilitate workshops and group training: Organize and lead interactive sessions that promote best practices and collaborative learning among team members.
  • Stay updated on industry trends: Continuously research and incorporate the latest sales techniques and strategies into coaching and training materials.     
  • Provide actionable insights: Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance overall sales effectiveness.  
  • Ensure compliance: Enforce all HR policies are adhered to, including, but not limited to, managing team benefit time requests, monthly/quarterly scorecards and QA evaluations.
  • Ensure all team members have the equipment, tools and support to do their job effectively. Assist in executing Business Continuity Plans when necessary. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor‘s Degree preferred
  • Must be a graduate of the internal Embark Leadership Development program
  • 1+ years' experience as a Personal Vacation Planner (PVP)

  • No active written performance counseling and/or warnings, performance improvement plans

  • All applicants must advise their Coach/Manager of their interest in applying for the role.​​​​​​

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to execute and teach sales process to individuals
  • Member of the Anchor (mentorship) program
  • Have an expert knowledge of all tools and resources required to succeed including Siebel (CRM), Navigator (Reservation System) and Webex Engage (text application) 
  • Previous management experience

    • Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year.  Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
