The Marketing Measurement Sr. Manager is focused on the Marketing Reporting and Measurement tool set, including building and continuously improving a set of products that enable our marketing teams to make more informed decisions to grow the business and optimize investments. This position will be responsible for the holistic full-funnel view of performance across all marketing campaigns (offline/online, paid/owned), inclusive of creative impact for Carnival Cruise Line, and help elevate with a data-rich marketing analytics strategy to determine Marketing ROI and help inform future investment decisions.

Job Functions:

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of a Marketing Mix Model (MMM) and attribution to understand the impact of Carnival’s marketing and advertising campaigns on overall business and marketing KPIs. In collaboration with external agencies and internal stakeholders, obtain and input the needed data to ensure accuracy in modeling. Oversee other internal tools related to campaign performance, such as iSpot (including Ace). Consult with internal and external partners to ensure standard methodologies for tracking, campaign attributing (naming conventions), and taxonomization.
  • Serve as the marketing measurement expert on full-funnel campaign performance and deliver results to stakeholders that provide actionable insights to optimize marketing campaigns, improve ROI, and drive business growth. Be able to tell the story in a data-driven, yet easy digestible manner. Reporting will include KPIs derived from the MMM or other internal measurement tools and will require conversations with the internal Carnival Team. Consultative guidance will also be used in evaluating external performance metrics, such as Brand Lift studies. Reporting will include management of the Creative performance dashboard, as well as iSpot Ace.
  • Work with marketing leadership and channel leads/cross-functional partners to identify areas of opportunity for measurement. and stay informed of evolving technologies and methodologies that may need to change/be activated.
  • Manage project budgets. Responsible for reviewing invoices and coding all billing in Markview.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education:  bachelor’s degree in marketing, Economics, Statistics or Analytics required.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • Work Experience:  8+ years Related professional experience. Previous work with various marketing measurement approaches for online and offline media, ideally in the travel or hospitality space (although other fields are fine.)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong working experience with data visualization tools such as Datorama, Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio, Micro Strategies or similar tools.
  • Strong experience with SQL
  • Experience working with Data-Warehouses, CRM data and customer analytics.
  • Experience building and owning reporting and visualization dashboards (backend and frontend), preferably for a marketing organization. 
  • Strong experience in deploying research methods and tools, both qualitative and quantitative. 
  • Experience in a marketing and analytics role that includes a mix of in-house specialists and external vendors. 

Physical Demands:  Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. 

Travel:  No travel.

Work Conditions:  Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. 

The range for this role’s salary rate is $75,900-118,000.  Offers to the selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.

    • Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year.  Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
