The Senior Manager, Strategy & Analytics is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, financial and performance management, business intelligence, process transformation, and data-driven decision-making across the North America Supply Chain organization. This role partners with Supply Chain leadership, Finance, functional teams, brand stakeholders, and external advisors to develop insights, identify opportunities, and deliver initiatives that improve cost, service, quality, visibility, and operational performance.

The successful candidate combines strong financial acumen, advanced analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, project leadership, executive communication, and the ability to influence across a complex, multi-brand organization.

Essential Functions:

Strategy Development & Execution

  • Support the development, governance, and execution of the NASC multi-year strategy and annual priorities.

  • Translate strategic objectives into measurable initiatives, roadmaps, KPIs, milestones, and business outcomes, including the Supply Chain Balanced Scorecard

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on supply chain transformation, process optimization, digital enablement, end-to-end connectivity, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify operations, standardize ways of working, and accelerate continuous improvement.

  • Project Portfolio & Analyst Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, prioritization, and mentoring for Supply Chain analysts supporting strategic and operational workstreams.

Financial Performance Management & Value Delivery

  • Partner with Supply Chain leadership and Finance to support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development, forecasting, cost reporting, and performance tracking.

  • Develop and maintain consistent reporting for budgets, operating costs, cost savings, cost avoidance, productivity initiatives, and spend performance.

  • Monitor, validate, and communicate value realization from strategic sourcing, logistics, transformation, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations that support investment decisions, resource prioritization, and corrective actions.

  • Strengthen governance and consistency in the measurement and reporting of savings and value creation.

Analytics, Insights & Executive Storytelling

  • Transform complex operational, financial, supplier, sourcing, logistics, inventory, and contract data into actionable insights and concise executive recommendations.

  • Connect data, business context, and strategic priorities to identify trends, risks, opportunities, root causes, and performance gaps.

  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and leadership presentations that improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making.

  • Communicate analytical findings through compelling business narratives tailored to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Partner with Technology, Data, and business teams to automate reporting and improve data quality, accessibility, and adoption.

Transformation & Process Improvement

  • Lead process mapping, current-state assessments, future-state design, and implementation planning.

  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, or comparable methodologies to improve performance and sustain results.

  • Support enterprise initiatives involving procurement transformation, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Master Data Management (MDM), procure-to-pay optimization, and automation.

  • Develop business cases, implementation roadmaps, benefit tracking, and value realization plans for strategic investments.

External Partnerships, Best Practices & Capability Building

  • Work with external consultants, industry experts, technology providers, and benchmarking organizations to identify leading practices and emerging trends.

  • Evaluate and adapt relevant best practices across supply chain, procurement, analytics, process excellence, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer from external partners and embed new methodologies, tools, frameworks, and ways of working within the organization.

  • Design and support capability-building initiatives, including training, coaching, playbooks, and communities of practice.

  • Build organizational readiness and sustainable adoption through stakeholder engagement and change management.

Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to Supply Chain leaders and business stakeholders.

  • Lead governance meetings, workshops, executive reviews, and cross-functional working sessions.

  • Facilitate alignment across sourcing, logistics, operations, Finance, Technology, and brand teams.

  • Coach and mentor analysts and project resources while promoting accountability, collaboration, innovation, and data literacy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Scope: Leads strategy, analytics, financial performance management, and transformation initiatives across the North America Supply Chain organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth priorities. Oversees enterprise-wide performance measurement, strategic planning, governance, and cross-functional programs that drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and value realization.

  • Problem solving: Analyzes complex financial, operational, sourcing, logistics, and supplier data to identify trends, risks, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.  Develops strategic solutions, business cases, and transformation roadmaps that address operational challenges, improve performance, and support informed decision making.

  • Impact: Drives measurable improvements in cost savings, productivity, service levels, process efficiency, and supply chain performance through strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Enhance organizational visibility, governance, and decision-making capabilities by delivering actionable insights, performance reporting, and sustainable business transformation outcomes.                

  • Leadership: Provides direction, prioritization, coaching, and mentorship to Supply Chain analysts while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision making.

Essential/Minimal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.

  • Advanced analytical and data visualization capabilities, including proficiency with Power BI and Excel; SQL or comparable data-query experience is preferred.

  • Strong executive presentation, written communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred

  • MBA or relevant master's degree.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, PMP, or comparable process improvement/project management certification.

Essential Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, business analytics, consulting, supply chain, operations excellence, finance, or project/program management.

  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, AOP tracking, savings measurement, and business case development.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative information into clear insights, executive narratives, and actionable recommendations.

  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, balanced scorecards, and business performance management frameworks.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.

  • Preferred:

  • Experience in hospitality, travel, logistics, procurement, retail, consumer goods, or another complex service environment.

  • Experience working with consulting firms, transformation partners, benchmarking organizations, or enterprise-wide transformation programs.

  • Experience building organizational capabilities through analytics, process improvement, change management, training, or adoption programs.

Travel: No or very little travel likely

Work Conditions:Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

This position is classified as “in-office.”  As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays.

    • Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year.  Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
