Coordinator, Global Gaming Casino Warehouse

Under the general supervision of the Inventory Supervisor, Warehouse Global Gaming, the Casino Warehouse Coordinator supports warehouse stock control and the movement of gaming materials into, within, and out of the warehouse. The role maintains accurate inventory records and helps ensure merchandise reaches its destination on time so casino revenue opportunities are not adversely affected.

Responsibilities 

• Participate in daily warehouse operations by receiving, processing, issuing, identifying, marking, placing, and safely storing stock. Maintain the warehouse and inventory in a safe, clean, orderly condition.

• Verify inbound merchandise against purchase orders, including description, brand, unit of measure, vendor, and quantity, and communicate discrepancies to Purchasing.

• Maintain accurate inventory records, files, reports, and correspondence using warehouse systems and Microsoft Office to provide effective checks and balances.

• Process supply requisitions; prepare, package, and coordinate merchandise for delivery or shipment; and communicate with shipboard departments, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and coordinate activities.

• Operate warehouse equipment, vehicles, and hand tools; coordinate equipment maintenance and repair; and pick up or deliver items using company vehicles as required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Scope: Supports Global Gaming warehouse and logistics activities with global responsibilities across all brands. The role collaborates with shoreside and shipboard teams and supports the movement and availability of gaming equipment, merchandise, and spare parts.
• Problem Solving: Resolves routine warehouse receiving, inventory, documentation, shipping, storage, and delivery issues. Identifies purchase order or quantity discrepancies, coordinates with Purchasing, vendors, and shipboard departments, and escalates issues when established procedures do not resolve them
• Impact: Accurate stock control, timely processing, and dependable shipment of merchandise help prevent operational delays and reduce the risk that casino revenue opportunities are adversely affected.
• Leadership: This role has no direct reports. It works with minimal direction, demonstrates initiative, coordinates activities across internal and external stakeholders, and is responsible for securing equipment and goods.

Essential/Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum age of 21 for driving company vehicles. Certification to operate applicable warehouse equipment and vehicles.

Essential Experience Required:

A minimum of two years of increasingly responsible experience in a warehouse facility. Experience with warehouse receiving, shipping, inventory control, material handling, recordkeeping, and coordination with vendors and operational teams.

Travel Required: No or very little travel likely

Work Conditions: Work may require employee to work inside and/or outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery. Work involves moderate noise and may require overtime or weekends as needed.

Physical Demands: Requires regular movement throughout company facilities and the ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds.

This position is classified as “in-office.”  As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
