Job Description
CASI, Cruise Administration Services Inc, a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines currently has a Probationary Contract, Travel and Crew Specialist role available.

Job Summary:
The position is responsible for accommodating all hotel and transportation travel requests in Crew Transportation Team mailbox, and in fulfilling all travel request queues in GDS Sabre/Amadeus for booking completion as per the company's service level standards and is accountable to provide a cost-effective travel booking meeting service levels while attending to all customers' needs via phone, chat, and email.
Essential functions:
- Proficient in fulfilling all travel requests in GDS Sabre/Amadeus from requests in CPS for all team members’ flight booking and hotel accommodation and transportation requests within 0 to 14 days and beyond.
- Efficient management of Crew Transportation Inbox for all travel requests and inquiries of new hires, rejoiners, vendor inquiries, and any emergencies and/or unexpected travel movement and cancellation.
- Ensure that all Crew Emergencies within 2 to 8 days of travel are attended – including but not limited to travel, reprinting of LOE, updating CPS, re-scheduling shipboard employee to meet vessels at very next port of call, etc.
- Ensure close working relationship with port logistics and scheduling team on crew related matters to ensure a fast and efficient resolution to any crew travel situation as well as in managing Out Ports requests.
- Efficient management of Travel Pass application to ensure all bookings are under the contracted partner hotels for cost-effective fulfilment of booking reservation.
- Ensure full customer satisfaction by responding to emails based on prioritization tagging and answering calls & chats in timely manner.
- Proficient coordination with the HR Center/Crew Office regarding any last-minute changes to a travel itinerary, shipboard employee joining date due to an unforeseen delay, etc.
- Abreast with all travel updates/restrictions around the world to proactively secure alternative travel routes, hotel booking and port transfer coordination.
- Proficient management of Crew Manifest reports generation and endorsement to partner vendors within the set contingency days to ensure completeness of Team Member list joining in the next port of call.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED/ Bachelors Degree Major in Tourism/ Travel Management
- 3 years of related experience preferably in travel or cruise line industry/ travel industry/hotel operations industry
- Requires expertise in a GDS system, preferably Sabre
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiar and with working knowledge of general/organizational shipboard functions and concepts, and hotel and transportation operations.
- Knowledge and understanding of airline contracts and fares
- Know-how on applicable immigration and visa requirements related to seafarers in various geographical areas.
- With working knowledge of applicable flag state/port state regulations related to seafarers training, licenses, and certifications.
- Able to communicate verbally/writing in a professional business-like manner with all levels of the organizations to gather and relay information in a multinational environment.
- With working knowledge of computers, internet and navigate within a variety of Microsoft software packages.
- Able to work productively and mechanically under strict time constraints and stressful situations
- Good presentation skills
