CASI, Cruise Administration Services Inc, a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines currently has a Fleet Resource Support Team Specialist role available with Holland America onsite in Manilla.  

Job Summary:

The Specialist supports Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, and Seabourn and is responsible for the processing of applications for privilege programs according to policy includng Companion Link (PCL only), Verification of Employment, Home Air City changes, as well as the logging of Relatives Travel application data with periodic support of booking approved applications in POLAR. This position will also be responsible for issuing required addendums and updating monthly timesheets in the crew database for Corporate and Fleet travelling positions.

Essential Functions:

  • Log all Relatives Travel applications in preparation for review, approval, and booking. Support Sr. Specialists with Polar bookings as needed.
  • Review and approve Companion Link requests for PCL, with updates in crew database and timely responses.
  • Update all monthly timesheets in crew database for Corporate and Fleet travelling positions.
  • Provide employment agreement addendums as requested.
  • Ensure all crew database updates are accurate, updated in a timely manner, and are kept confidential in compliance with company policy and MLC regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of increasing responsibility in Human Resources, international experience preferred. 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, or related field.
  • Strong business orientation with global mindset and experience. Ability to build and maintain key relationships. Operates with a sense of urgency and is action oriented
  • Support Sr Specialists as needed to prepare for mid-month and month-end payroll processing, including processing basic rank/wage updates. Collaborate and coordinate with Shipboard Payroll, Fleet Compensation, Planning, Planning Support and operational teams to ensure open communication in support of our shipboard team members’ needs. Respond to general queries as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze data gathered from diagnostic tools and HR metrics. Ability to develop practical solutions to address complex challenges. Superior written and verbal communication and strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in all MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other web-based applications.
