Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist. The Senior AP Specialist is responsible for the accurate input of data from supplier invoices into Oracle R12 AP module via the Kofax/MarkView imaging and workflow system; matching to Purchase Orders when applicable, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. A strong understanding of the overall A/P process is required. The position may assist across responsibilities when deemed necessary by management.

Essential Functions:

  • Set up and renew recurring invoices
  • Enter Manual Wires 
  • Work Markview Review Queues. Assist AP specialists with Markview queues to be within SLA. Cross train on all entry queues and validation
  • Work AP Trial Balance Open Credits report
  • Work various AP control reports
  • CEP AP Month end closing process, inclusive of reporting, variance explanations and back up preparer for balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare Journal entries, as required (CCL/CEP)
  • Review Markview Open Invoice report. Follow up with business on invoices aged over 30 days on a weekly basis
  • Work Match Hold Report. Follow up with business on invoices aged over 30 days
  • Prepare Daily Assignments and daily metrics reporting. Assist with Daily Transfer to GL, CCL and CEP
  • Assist with audit requests. Work on Special projects/UAT testing

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Accounts Payable experience of 2+ years preferred
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Oracle R12 and Markview
  •  Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
