Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Shipboard Culture, Engagement and Experience Manager.  This roles strives for continuous improvement of our shipboard team members' experience aboard our vessels.  Acting as the subject matter exepert for engagment, culture and experience, the individual works with considerable independence to implement and develop industrly leading intiatives. Ultimately, the primary function is to continuously strive to improve the lives of our 36,000 shipboard team members, with the aim of improving key business metrics, including but not limited to, attrition, engagement, guest experience, and other measures.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the shipbaord employee engagement survey program.
  • Conceptualizes the end-to-end engagement strategy for the company, ensuring that the program stays ahead of industry trends, and captures the relevant data points for our unique operation.
  • Develops proper communication strategies to ensure the results are communicated to the concerned leaders and drives the post-engagement action planning effort fleetwide.
  • Leads the development of Human Resource Initiatives that impact our employee experience and culture.
  • Where necessary, create cross-functional groups/ teams to develop initiatives and leverage organizational knowledge.
  • Support all other culture initiatives at a corporate level, and where appropriate, facilitate the deployment of such programs.
  • Act as the support for the Fleet HR Directors, Shipboard HR team and broader management community, with regards to answering queries and clarifying procedures related to all engagement, experience, and culture policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for creating and managing all new and existing initiatives that offer concrete benefits and positive experiences for our team members.
  • This involves the planning, development, promotion and sustainment of these programs, and may include initiatives that impact the pre-hire, living environment, social well-being and work of our team members.

Essential Functions

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development
  • A graduate or post graduate degree is desirable
  • 5-8 years of progressive HR leadership with an emphasis in organizational development and HR business partnership, specifically improving employee and organizational performance through the design and delivery of people programs.
