Job Description:

This position will play an integral role in the ABG Planning & Accounting Group, including the Corporate month‐end closing process, journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and internal management reporting. This individual will also be a key contributor to the growth of the ABG Planning & Accounting department by providing a strong professional presence and superior technical accounting and reporting expertise.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly comparative Profit & Loss (“P&L”) and Balance Sheet Statements for the Corporate AllBrands Group Support (“ABG Support”) departments such IT and OCEAN, including GL detail requests and analyzing variances to plan and forecast
  • Analyze and track capital spend for various ABG Support groups
  • Consolidation of all ABG Support submissions for the Annual Capital and Operating Planning
  • Process as well as the Monthly Forecast Process and value added analysis for Executive Management
  • A variety of value added ABG ad‐hoc analysis as well as analysis requested by Executive
  • Management and other ABG departments
  • Special projects as necessary


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a four year university
  • Minimum of 2‐3 years of experience in financial roles with some experience in accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and other planning and analysis
  • Experience in a large public or private company or large public accounting firm
  • Superior skills with analytical software, especially Microsoft Excel, and experience with a variety of financial analysis
  • Previous experience with Oracle Financial Systems, Hyperion Essbase and BlackLine a plus
  • Experience with proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Dedicated to the timely delivery of a superior product
  • Strong process skills and proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Uncompromising work ethic
  • Possess intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
