Candidate Profile

You are a highly detailed- and process oriented multi-tasker. You have at least 5 years of experience as a buyer where you managed all aspects of the purchasing process, including vendor selection, vendor relations, obtaining product samples, internal requisitions’ management, presenting samples to internal clients and negotiate terms. 


Based in our Doral, Florida headquarters, you will collaborate closely with our shore side and shipboard teams to source operational branded items including souvenirs, glassware, banners, and uniforms to name a few. 


In addition to your day-to-day duties managing the buying cycle, you will strategically work on Special Projects to enhance our Guest experience further streamline our processes and procedures.


Position Overview:

To assist the Director of Purchasing in administering the procurement process in compliance with Company's rules, regulations and policies. The job provides support in initiating, confirming, and completing orders for requisitions made by shore-side departments and operations to maximize guest experience   


  • Issue Purchase Orders for approved requisitions, as needed
  • Sort out discrepancies between Suppliers and Accounts Payable
  • Communicate and interact with Operations to support the vessels and shore-side departments
  • Work with Operations and vendors to fully define item specifications
  • Coordinate with Logistics to ensure that supplies meet the loading requirements and schedule
  • Interact with Receiving to resolve issues so that Vendors’ Invoices get paid
  • Handle paperwork required and coordinate with Accounting to set-up new Vendors


  • College degree in relevant area preferred
  • 5 years buying experience
  • Communication skills and customer's oriented attitude
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Good knowledge of English language
