Provides administrative and logistical support to the L&D (Learning & Development) function, both shipboard and shoreside, as well as the operations of the Ships' Learning Centers. Act as the first point of contact for internal and external L&D related inquiries, vendor and resource management, training program coordination and support of any other L&D projects as assigned.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support knowledge and learning systems - Manage the shipboard learning library resources, provide timely updates to the intranet and basic LMS (GLADIS & LMS365)- level 1 admin support.
- Logistics - Support the logistics, coordination and execution of various training programs and initiatives, including scheduling traveling trainers or team members to shoreside learning facilities.
- Administrative Support - Support the L&D team with various coordination and administrative responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to, the procuring and delivering of training resources, managing orders for special projects such as new ship builds, program supplies, etc. Manage the shoreside Learning Resource Center (LRC) facility. Records management for regulatory training.
- Communication - Communicate professionally with shoreside stakeholders, vessels and other departments, including but not limited to, responding to email queries, managing L&D support inboxes, providing accurate information and effectively communicating process changes/updates. Follow up with respective parties in a timely manner.
- Scheduling - manage effective scheduling of L&D Managers and Team Engagement Specialists on every vessel, in partnership with the Fleet Managers.
- Vendor Management - Sourcing, procuring, and coding of purchases, as well as vendor relations and contract maintenance in partnership with Purchasing and Accounting teams.
- Support new trainer selection in collaboration with Fleet Managers. Assist talent partners with screening, certifications, and onboarding. Any other assigned tasks as deemed necessary.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: associate degree required/bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Work Experience: 1-2 Years’ experience in an administrative/coordination role with preferred HR experience and administrative/coordinator level.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Office 365 for Business, including the use of Teams and Sharepoint Online required, able to coordinate and keep track of multiple activities at the same time without making errors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Use initiative and independent judgment within established policy and procedural guidelines.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, responsible, able to multitask, proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, strives to build strong business relationships, possess professional verbal and written English skills.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities.
Work Conditions:
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

The range for this role’s hourly rate is $17.00 - $19.00. Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
