You have at least 1-3 years’ of experience in your current position which we believe is in human resources, customer service, retail, or in a call center.  You are extremely detailed and process-oriented.  You have outstanding interpersonal skills and are comfortable interacting with people at all levels of an organization.  You are eager to learn about HR policies and processes.  You want to grow in your career; therefore, you always approach your work with professionalism and dedication.

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. This HR Coordinator operates as the first point of contact for all HR-related questions and support, and collaborates effectively with our HR Centers of Excellence, in order to execute tasks and provide best in class service to our team members.  Additionally, this position is an extension of the HR Services team and a representative of a culture that is employee-oriented, high performance culture with a focus on Employee Engagement.  The HR Coordinator has frequent interaction with new and existing employees, and is expected to contribute to a positive experience and first impression.

Essential Functions

  • Represent the HR Department by greeting and directing all guests and employees in person and over the phone.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all HR requests and inquiries while managing and triaging responses via the HR case management system, ServiceNow, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide administrative support for the HR department, including but not limited to; coordinating all time and attendance related functions, using the Kronos timekeeping software, mail distribution, and office supply ordering and inventory management.
  • Assist employees and managers with Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service functions in the core HR System, Oracle HCM.
  • Process employee changes, I-9 re-verification, former employee requests, as well as other projects and HR initiatives.
  • Responsible for accurately processing HR-related information with confidentiality.
  • Manage payment and reconciliation of HR invoices through the accounts payable system and corporate T&E card.
  • Maintain and update all HR distribution lists.
  • Perform other duties as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other relevant field is a plus.
  • HR Certification is a plus
  • Human Resources or Customer Service experience required. 1-3 years in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast paced, dynamic environment; self-directed; solid problem solving skills; detail oriented; strong verbal & written communications skills; customer focused; collaborative & team focused; ability to maintain the utmost level of discretion & diplomacy with confidential & sensitive data; successfully interact with all position levels, internal & external contacts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Visio; Comfortable learning new systems and technology.
  • Demonstrates patience and willingness to help. Flexibility in response to unexpected situations. Demonstrates sound judgment.
