Job Description:

Carnival Cruise Line is hiring a Casting & Booking Special Projects Coordinator! This role is responsible for supporting the Casting and Booking Team in the hiring, on-boarding, and scheduling processes to ensure Carnival’s fleet is fully staffed with top talent. Actively consider how Carnival Entertainment is reflected to prospective candidates while being a vital part of the creative process. Having a logistical mindset in order to keep organized the various special projects that are a part of the Casting and Booking Team. The coordinator will have their own responsibilities and work with others to support the larger team.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for working with the design team to create the marketing materials for all auditions including print ads for auditions and magazine advertisements.
  • Liaising between the print outlet and the CCL design team to make sure specs and audition details are correct.
  • Keep inventory of promotional items such as pens, key chains, or luggage tags, and ensure that there is enough stock for upcoming auditions.
  • Work with vendors on production of items and design process.
  • Source new items for production.
  • Be the lead for getting all uniforms to ships via our inter-ship mailing system for all Entertainment Team Members as per all assignments within Entertainment.
  • Lead on all Job Fairs - including contact with fair representatives, working with design team on booth layouts, shipping materials, etc.
  • Work in conjunction with the corresponding Hiring Supervisor to make sure that all logistical details are taken care of.
  • Be the lead in office contact for Carnival Internship program including liaising with outside consultant and organizing orientation logistics like rooms, food, booking hotel and travel.
  • Provide administrative support including invoicing from agents, venues, and outside companies, etc.
  • Provide coverage for Casting & Booking Supervisors, Booking Associates, and other Coordinators where appropriate. Be knowledgeable in ROSE, AirTable, and CPS. 
  • Additional Special Projects as they come up for the Casting and Booking Team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Entertainment Management, Marketing, Administrative Support, or other related fields of study preferred.
  • 1-2 years working in an administrative support capacity, preferably in the entertainment, cruise or marketing industry.
  • Strategic thinking to find solutions to complex problems that can balance short and long-term objectives.
  • Ability to work proactively, both individually and as a team.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused when working under pressure in time-sensitive situations.
  • Must be computer/tech/web savvy and familiar with all MS office products, especially Excel.
  • Database knowledge preferred.
  • Weekend work may be required.
