Job Description:

The Director, Global Treasury plays a key role in our efforts to provide decision support in selecting, optimizing, prioritizing and executing financing projects and other strategic Treasury initiatives.  This role will lead efforts in negotiating, documenting and completing financing agreements and other initiatives related to Treasury.  This position will also be responsible for managing the execution of the share repurchase and dividend activities.  The role will work in conjunction with other teams within ABG and/or the Operating Companies, as appropriate,  to ensure cohesiveness with strategic goals and initiatives. This position proactively seeks opportunities to partner with business units on important strategic initiatives.

Essential functions:
  •  Able to successfully negotiate commercial terms, review legal agreements and provide appropriate and timely feedback for financing transactions, including coordination of all internal and external stakeholders to drive transactions to completion.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to all internal and external stakeholders on financing matters at both the brand level and strategic level
  • Drive analysis of potential financing transactions, including alternatives, timing and recommendations to management
  • Play a key role in managing relationships with banking partners and export credit agencies
  • Managing Global Treasury Policies and departmental procedures
  • Oversee Newbuild deliveries process and funding
  • Manage execution of share repurchase strategy, including coordinating with brokers
  • Coordinate execution of quarterly dividend payments and related internal/external communications
  • Manage other strategic initiatives, as appropriate

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree (Finance or Accounting)

CPA, Chartered Accountant or CTP

Minimum of 10

Understanding of project management, FX and a multi-currency environment, demonstrated ability to negotiate agreements

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Strong collaborative skills and ability to manage projects
