You are highly analytical and have strong technical analytical skills; you’re fully fluent in R, SAS Enterprise and an advanced Excel user.  Ideally you also have applied your analytical skills in strategic business development capacity where you have needed to “step out of the data” to take in the big picture.  To you, crunching the data is just the starting point, the magic starts when you get to creatively use the data to identify trends and business opportunities as well as make and present recommendations to Senior Leaders. 

If you also have experience with project management and developing strategic business processes to seize business development opportunities we should talk right away.

Responsible to build a new stream of offers for high value guests in OBR categories to drive additional 20-50k annual bookings and $50-$100M of ticket and On board revenues. Responsible to setup a program that will allow us to create a new opaque channel that drives additional booking profitability to the mix. This position will leverage existing capabilities in the Commercial Operations team to create the new business

Essential Functions

  • Support the development of new business with offers for high value guests and processes that improve revenue optimization, supports strategic projects and objectives, and enables better decisions. Will work with our marketing agency and different stakeholders
  • Queries, analyzes data and maintains reports using approved reporting tools to provide management with requested system driven information.
  • Support/co-lead the business-side on small to large-scale IT/DW projects during key phases of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, GUI review/approval, and testing
  • Collaborates across several business areas to identify ways to streamline and automate daily tasks that improve business effectiveness and efficiency
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to operations senior management team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Marketing preferred.
  • 1+ years of finance, revenue management, coding or related analytical experience.
  • Sound understanding of revenue management concepts and principles. Solid analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and handle changing priorities with high level of quality.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge with a focus in Excel. Proficiency in analytical tools SAS Enterprise Guide and Tableau. Working knowledge of database structure.
