Job Description:

The Application Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting business related applications/solutions for Global Casino Operations. 

The successful candidate will also be responsible supporting the applications they develop along with downstream system interfaces plus related system integration efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching/evaluating new technologies, innovations, and development techniques in the market place. The successful candidate will lead by example and be an advocate of change.

Essential Functions:
  • Support & enhance existing application designed to alert and track financial activity related to AML.
  • Architect/design business solutions which allow ease of augmenting and enhancing such solutions simple.
  • Continuously enhance, tune, and optimize developed business solutions for efficiency and top performance gains.
  • Keep abreast of technology advancements/change in both Cruise and Maritime industries.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Discipline or Major in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science.
  • Master of Science in technical field and/or MBA preferred.
  • More than 3 years of development experience with .NET Framework 4.0 and above, Visual Studio 2012 and above and SQL Server/Oracle Databases.
  • A strong understanding of source code control systems and procedures. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. A solid understanding of object-oriented design and service oriented architecture. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies and tools. An awareness of data privacy, security concerns, and possible vulnerabilities. Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team-player. Excellent communications skills.
  • Experience with C#, MVC, ASP.NET, Web API, AngularJS, HTML5. Experience developing and integrating systems using REST APIs. Familiarity with object serialization to one of the following: XML, JSON, BSON. Database development skill using SQL Server or Oracle or equivalent.
