Job Description:

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Media Analyst! This position is a media creative analyst that develops digital testing plans that span media and creative. This individual has the ability to report out on day-to-day performance as well as analyze the results to identify key learnings and implications spanning from offline and online channels.       

Essential Functions:

  • Evaluate and analysis the media performance.
  • Report and deliver insights leading to media optimizations.
  • Work with media agency to identify opportunities to optimize media partners, targets and tactics.
  • Lead analysis for creative messaging performance and deliver bi-weekly reports.
  • Work with advertising teams to understand what messaging tactics and executions are working best.
  • Responsible for managing and developing strategic testing plans and appropriate KPIs for campaigns while ensuring that set KPIs are delivered against.
  • Liaise with social teams to understand effects of social chatter on paid media and vice versa.
  • Execute reporting on regional media performance for key markets.
  • Work with newly implemented Multi Touch attribution platform to understand how different marketing channels impact each other.
  • Working with agencies, provide action and deliver actionable insights on competitive reports, both cruise and land, national and regional, on a monthly basis. 
  • Serve as technical lead in the following: media tagging (including DMP), tracking, creative dynamic data feeds.
  • Connect with carnival.com teams to determine appropriate tagging structure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Statistics preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in related role.
  • Experience in online advertising/media.
  • Shannel marketing, off-line advertising/media and/or consulting
  • Proven track record of communicating actionable insights verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment is critical. 
  • Exhibit enthusiasm, passion, creativity and commitment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (expert in Excel), Site Catalyst (or similar), Tableau, SQL, Tealium, DFA, DMP.  
  • Must have clear understanding of site tagging.
