This role is responsible for managing digital key performance business metrics and value analyses across the entire eCommerce journey. The eCommerce Analyst leads business reporting and manages the day to day analysis of key performance data including sales, web analytics, merchandise and other operational analysis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and be able to analyze and deliver reports in a timely manner. They will focus on data integrity across the eCommerce/digital marketing department to drive business growth and to reach sales goals.

Essential Functions:
  • Build business KPI dashboards and lead weekly meeting with key stakeholders from eCommerce, digital marketing, and planning to align cross-functional objectives
  • Provide actionable, solutions-oriented metrics, insights and recommendations that lead to audience, traffic and profit growth
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into click stream data and usage patterns to drive insights that can help guide digital marketing strategy 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tell a cohesive story about the end-to-end digital user experience and pathways 
  • Lead meetings to present analysis, insights and recommendations to senior executives
  • Continuously monitor and benchmark site performance that increases profit 
  • Monitor industry best practices for omni-channel analytics and provide recommendations for new approaches and related analytical tools/platforms 
  • Partner with BI to ensure data consistency and data governance standards are met

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree preferred in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics or Mathematics
  • 3 -5+ years of experience using Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics and actively working on ecommerce website
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and strategic planning skills as well as the ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • Quick learner, curious and inquisitive
  • Forward thinkers/planners who can begin with a question, build a roadmap to the answer, obtain necessary data, adapt and evolve the roadmap during process, and create actionable conclusions from analytical process
  • Self-motivated, relentless in finding better solutions, desire to drive change
  • Strong team player, cooperative, collaborative, diplomatic to work with other people
  • Clear, concise written and oral communication
  • Organized, can set priorities and communicate with managers, can flexibly move between projects
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and database tools a must: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, SPSS, SAS, SQL, Tableau
  • Cruise industry experience is preferred but not required
