Project Manager\Analyst Financial Technology

Job Description:

The Project Manager - Business Analyst will be a key contributor to the success of Carnival’s Financial Technology department. The individual in this role will work with departments throughout the company to develop and analyze implementations, interfaces and processes that impact the financial systems .
Responsibilities include: Lead department projects and system enhancements to include managing the scope of the project, developing project plans and leading the implementation efforts Documenting as-is and to-be business processes as well as identifying process strengths and weaknesses in order to suggest areas of improvement Aid in the day to day support of the Financials user community and their systems Develop new tools and analyses, independently and collaboratively, as support to Finance business partners to monitor performance and meet goals. Proactively seek opportunities to partner with business units on important strategic initiatives Work with Corporate Governance and System Support team to develop systems and reporting to support new business practices and business change requests Perform and assist in user acceptance testing (including test scripts development) related to new or changes in business practices Preferred Qualifications: General understanding of financial systems, Oracle Financials (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Payables, Purchasing) and Hyperion Experience with working on projects including Project Management Proficiency in Excel and Power Point Ability to manage multiple projects to completion, coordinate action plans and implement decision strategies Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt easily to change Strong process skills and proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems or equivalent and relevant work experience Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, hard-charging, team-oriented environment “Hands-on” style and detail-oriented approach to document preparation and/or review Excellent communication Creative thinker and solutions-oriented executive Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
